Note: Since Jan2015 I’m on leave, my new workplace is at the Physics Department of the University of Chile in Santiago. Please check my personal website www.foatorres.com for more frequent updates.
Luis E. F. Foa Torres (b. 1978) is a CONICET Research Scientist (Investigador Independiente) and an Associate Professor at the National University of Córdoba in Argentina where he leads a team exploring two-dimensional materials and topological insulators (http://nanocarbon.famaf.unc.edu.ar/).
Before he worked in Germany as a Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the French Atomic Energy Commission in Grenoble and at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste. His field of expertise is quantum transport with emphasis on driven systems. Since 2011 he is also an Associate of Trieste’s ICTP.
